I am an illustrative artist based in the beautiful county of Suffolk. Inspired by living and working in the country and the variety of natural beauty we are surrounded by.

My style when working in graphite, is very natural, reflecting the realistic quality, form and movement of the animal.    I enjoy creating a sense of character with each of my illustrations, finishing each one off with a name to suit! My very latest botanical studies have a definite focus on colour and form. I am very much enjoying the extra details and fine tones that can be created in colour.

I graduated from London College of Fashion with a degree in prosthetics, wig making and makeup for TV and theatre.  After working freelance on numerous exciting projects including making wigs for the London musical, The Lion King. I chose to complete a PGCE in secondary school Art teaching.  I was an Art, Photography and Textiles teacher for 6 years, until which time I left the profession and became a full time Mum to Ellsa who is now 7 and Louis 4.

Since having Louis I have built up my freelance artist work and now devote a huge amount of time developing and bringing to fruition my luxury British Made homeware range.  Which brings together some of my most popular illustrations onto a variety of gorgeous British made products. With a  focus on luxury and quality, the range features stunning fine bone china pieces, beautiful kitchen textiles , hand made melamine ware, gorgeous scented candles, home fragrance products and so much more.

I hope you enjoy it all,

Laura x
